The Sioux City Sbarro is located in a mall food court which probably explains the general surly moods of the employees. Wait, other food court restaurants don't seem to have the same issue. Anyway, the pizza looks better than it is but if you are craving pizza and can get beyond the rude servers, you might like it.
This Sbarro operates just like all others - you order your food at one end of the counter and pay at the other end. The employees won't look you in the eye, will pay more attention to each other and their friends in the food court than their customers, and will act as if you are a huge inconvenience. You will not be greeted or thanked for your business. Maybe I am old-fashioned but I do not like going to places where employees are openly goofing around in the back room. I really do not like it when employees reach in and grab food from the serving areas and eat it in plain site. Doesn't seem very sanitary.
Ignore the enticing aroma of the pizza, likely greasy, warming under the heat lamps. Move on to another restaurant option. You will be glad you did.
