“Glad we stayed there”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed September 26, 2012

We were on our way home from Denver and saw the Rodeway and decided to stop in. There was lots of room to park our trailer (truck + trailer = 60 feet), the price was right, very comfortable and clean king size bed, no odors, and an all-you-can-eat breakfast of scrambled eggs, sausages (not greasy), hash browns, and biscuits/gravy all looked after by a cook. We would most definitely stay there again.

How this place is still running is beyond belief.
It stinks of stale cigarrettes, its unkept and i would not even leave my pet there [ if i had 1]
We were booked into this excuse for a inn and left for alternative accomadation within half an hour
Dont waste your money
Only book this inn if you are blind and cant smell a thing ..........

It is the general manager's policy to ignore complaints. Even then the staff refuses to contact the general manager; the only option is to leave a voice mail. The non-smoking rooms smelled like cigarettes. Lost reservations, recliners in the rooms were broken, and the front desk could have cared less. The "kitchen staff" wore flip flops while tending the morning buffet... I could continue. Please do yourself a favor and stay somewhere else.

Keep driving and find a different hotel. It's hot, it's dirty, and worst of all, the customer service is awful. If you stay there, do a double check of your room before you leave. Unfortunately, our son left an item in our room. I called the hotel every week for 1 1/2 months asking someone to check lost and found. I left them my name, phone number, room number and date of stay. Each time I was told someone will look and call me back. Still waiting on that call back. I hope whoever is enjoying my son's item, that he can't anymore. On the bright side of things, the breakfast there is pretty great. But, that's it.

I needed an inexpensive place to sleep while in town for a week. I stayed at a nicer hotel near downtown sc but moved here to save some money. My first impression was oh no what did I get myself into but I thought ill give in a chance at least for one night and glad I did. The rooms were clean and bed pretty comfortable and nice airconditioning. There was a microwave and fridge, I felt pretty safe. When I first walked in the building the smell was not that good but my room was fine. Did not use any ameneties only slept here and spent days with family. Would I stay again...yes but only if I was speding most of my time elsewhere but not for a vacation spot. There are people who are staying here for extented stays....so it can feel like a different environment but all in all it was okay.

This is an older convention center type hotel right off of I-29. I was looking for a clean comfortable room to just stay the night, get cleaned up and head out to the next town. This hotel fit the bill perfectly with the bonus of a hot breakfast included. If you need to feel pampered or just got to have bright, shiny new things, keep looking. If you want a decent room for a reasonable price, this fits the bill. I will stay there again the next time I pass through Sioux City.

Got this hotel on Hotwire because it was rated a 3-star along with a Hilton Garden Inn and Holiday Inn. This is NO Hilton or Holiday!! Very old and not in a good area. Room smelled of some not so fragrant spray. Wish I could comment more, but walked out and got another hotel.
