“Go there for the view, Stay for the food !”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed April 4, 2015

This place is not far from my office. This is not the reason I like to go.
The view on the vineyards, the Lake and the mountain (on a clear day) is breath taking and worth the trip just for that...but the food is also the reason why you will want more than a small drink!
Flavors from the south ouest of France are served with an array of fresh Swiss product and the outcome couldn't be more of a success.
The serving is good, very polite and profesional staff.
I use this place as a regular business meal stop...it always impresses.

“Great atmosphere, but meat was tough”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed February 28, 2015 via mobile

I went here with a very large group from work. The restaurant is very expensive so I had high hopes. The scallop starter was very good, the red wine outstanding. For the main I ordered the sirloin rare. It was very tough and fatty and I was lucky if I got 10 bites of meat out of it. The people that ordered the pork seemed the most satisfied. The dessert was cheese with truffle, which was descent.

“Fantastic food, great value, quaint village = wonderful restaurant!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed December 15, 2014

I went to the restaurant with friends, we had a reservation. We were able to get seated as soon as we arrived. We had a variety of appetizers, dinners and desserts. The presentation, flavor and portion size was perfect for each one!

The service was very good as well. They have a bit of a problem though, the menu is on massive blackboards on wheels (one in French, one in English). It can be difficult to see it depending on the angle you are seated from it (and it is inconvenient for the staff to move them around).

I have been to Switzerland several times and this is one of my favorite restaurants I have been to!

“Great restaurant, service is very very good”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed October 4, 2014

Visited the restaurant with a large group of people.

First, e got aperitif outside the restaurant with e tremendous view. The wine was Grand Cru, 2013 tasted fantastic.

Food was served practically simultaneously, which is not easy for a big crowd. Waiters were very very polite. Close to impossible. Not a single grimace or irritation.

Starters were good. They also bake good bread.
But the main course was even better. Salmon, we ordered, was really just perfect. Venison was also
great, may be a bit underdone for me :) But eve body loved it.

Really recommend to visit, if you have no hurry ... just for a romantic dinner :)

“think twice if you come with kids”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed September 10, 2014

We went for a week-end family lunch, very nice terasse and relaxed atmosphere, efficient service. Food was good for the parents but big disappointment for the kids: nothing available that could tempt them, such as bolognaise, waiter did recommend "chicken burgers", which we ordered twice. Turned out to come with exotic spices, and no real side dish, and that for 38CHF/person.
Very regretful that no effort is made to accommodate children - we definitively cannot recommend the place for families with smaller children.
