“A real good trip”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed November 1, 2012 via mobile

I had recently a trip in Crete with my wife and two friends. We all enjoyed the time we had in kiani beach resort. Food was good, and we had very efficient people like Karim or Katerina.
After swimming, we also enjoyed to go to take a drink in bar with a special mention to Miris and Ioana.

This hotel is really nice and the service is very good, the hotel staff is nice and friendly. We stayed here from Oct 20-26 when it was bad weather and raining almost al the time, but we still had a nice time because the hotel was so good. The rooms are spacious and clean.

Room Tip: Since it was bad weather we enjoyed to have the room towards the mountain, becuase we had evening su...

We went there in May, and had a tremendous time. The staff couldn't be more responsive and nothing was too much trouble for them. The food was excellent as was the choice of beverages at the bar. Our four bed room was spotless as were all the facilities. The entertainments team worked hard but were a bit "over the top" but a lot of people joined in.

This was our 3rd time in as many years staying at Kiani Beach, and they haven't let us down!
This time we even brought my Mum who loved it too!

We are in danger of becoming that 'boring' family who goes back every year, but to be honest, we don't care! Everything from the rooms, to the amenities, to the outstanding service means that the entire family can truly relax and unwind.

The stunning layout of the entire complex ensures that as long as the sun shines, it is impossible to not have a relaxing time!

Chef Stelios pointing out the local dishes we should try, mountains of ice cream for the kids, and a huge pool to dip into, make it very easy to come back.

The management and staff are great as always, helping us anytime we needed it - even with a change of room due to a late flight.

Room Tip: The rooms facing the water provide an amazing view in the mornings!

We have stayed at Kiani beach from September 12,2012 to September 29,2012. We have booked the junior suite from the web site of the hotel.Anastasia from Front office Department has helped us with the letter to the Greece Consulate in Moscow. She has prepared the room for us in accordance with all our requests (Anastasia, thank you very much for your help. You are the best!). It was lovely decorated and we have had the plate with fruits. Every day we have new bottle of the mineral water. The hotel has very good children playground ear the beach bar.Our daughter liked it very much. They also have very good animation team for the children and for us.
We liked the restaurant of the hotel. The chef cooks very delicious and tasty food. I could find the food also for my 1 year and 7 months daughter. But they have some problems with the meat at the end of the season (not so big choice).
It is better to go to Crete at the beginning of September, because the sea was cold after lunch during our staying. The beach of the hotel is good. There are small stones at the entrance of the sea, but soon you can walk by sand. The weather was also cold in the evenings after 9-10 p.m.during some days after September 25,2012.
Many thanks to Katherine from the beach bar. She speaks Russian very good and makes very tasty Mohito. She helped us very much.
All staff of the hotel are very friendly and smiling. Many thank for Tania from the Front office Department, barmen from the beach bar..
We had only one problem - the hotel is located about 20 minutes by walk from the nearest village. But we have solved this problem on the 3-d day of our staying - we have rent the car at Kalyves village.
We liked Khania and Rethymno very much. There are a lot of places to visit on Crete. We hope to return to Crete next summer.

Really good trip.
Good place on the island.
Raki is excellent !
I played volley-ball every day. And my wife loved to dance Zumba.

We went on this island 5 years ago, our precedent hotel was a palace, really not cheap. This time on Kiani it was so exciting.

Just back from a week holiday to kiani beach and can't say anything negative about the hotel and staff. We travelled with 3 children which one of them an infant. The hotel was very family friendly plenty for the boys to keep them entertained. To name a few of the staff; Katerina, miris at the beach bar who were very kind and helpful. Aldo the entertainer( great volleyball ) and disco. Anastasia and the other girls at reception, the staff and chef at the restaurant ( great food). Thank you for our fantastic week. And hopefully see you again next year. Coming back to the hotel review I would say that it is great value and standard of accommodation.... The best thing about being at the kiani beach is how helpful and nice the staff are which makes your holiday even nicer. So if you are planning to go to kiani beach I would say don't hesitate it's a beautiful and relaxing place.(but still plenty to do if you wish)
