“Educational tour”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed March 27, 2013

We enjoyed this museum and learned alot about Buffalo Bill as well as many other things in the museum. We watched a great video on Buffalo Bill. There is a small fee for the museum. The volunteers were all knowledgeable and friendly. The Buffalo Bill museum is also attached to a facility that holds the oldest wooden bottom boat (I'm sure there is a more appropriate name) That was an added bonus. We were able to walk all around the huge paddle boat and even ring the boat's bell. We spent about an hour at this museum and really enjoyed it!

“A lot of neat things to see in this museum”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed March 20, 2013

A small part of the museum is devoted to Buffalo Bill... most of the exhibits focus noteworthy accomplishments of local residents over the years and on living in a small Mississippi river town during the early 1900s. While you are there, take a tour of the paddle-wheel river boat.

“Not a lot to see”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed February 14, 2013

This is a pretty small museum with not a lot to see. I was expecting more in the way of Buffalo Bills history but there was just some odds and ends of local history. One redeeming quality is the barge for the kids walk around.

“Not too great but they are trying and very reasonable cost”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed January 18, 2013

Make sure you have cash or a check as they don't take a debit/credit card. The displays are a bit, how shall I say it, lacking maintenance. The price was cheap, however, and the steamboat museum has definite promise.

“Disappointing”
2 of 5 stars Reviewed January 10, 2013

There was nothing of interest here. Just not enough substance to make it worth the admission price. But the little town of LeClaire is worth visiting. Good restuarants and interesting shopping.
