The Alexis Park Inn is a great place to stay in Iowa City. If you're looking for a motel that is clean, reasonably priced, offers large and unique suites and is owned by two of the nicest folks in Iowa, the Alexis Park Inn is the spot for you.

I met the owners, Jay and Mary Honeck, about four years ago at Oshkosh, WI and have been making it a point to stop in Iowa City once a year ever since (and I travel from California). Even though it's slightly out of my way, the stop is always well worth it. The Honecks are great folks and the pride they take in their establishment really shows.

I've stayed in the Memphis Belle and Blackbird suites and both were extremely comfortable.

If you fly into Iowa City airport, all it takes is a call to the Inn and someone will come pick you up.
