Owner description: A restored and operational water mill. This historical building is open every Sunday afternoon 1-5pm from March to 26th October (BST). A tour of the mill lasts around 40 minutes and takes you on a victorian journey, from the arrival of the wheat to the sacking of the flour. On the way you will be able to operate the 200 year old machinery and even start up the ten ton water wheel. We also have a tea room and beautiful wildlife rich grounds, as well as a fantastic dipping pond.

“Amazing working history”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed May 2, 2013 via mobile

Travelling through the country lanes we stumbled on this old water mill. What a find. It's like going back 150 years and experiencing the life of the miller. All of the machinery has been restored and you can see the whole process from winnowing to flour production.

There is also a coffee shop and we sat and had a cup of tea and a cake overlooking the mill pond.

It is run by enthusiastic volunteers and all proceeds go to restoration.
