“Staff pleasant, don't expect much more than a place to sleep”

Pluses: Friendly staff, close to restaurants, indoor pool (didn't use), wireless internet (didn't use), computer in lobby (didn't use). Breakfast but it's very minimal, mostly packaged donuts/muffins, cereal, juice/coffee, you can make your own waffles.

Cons: 2 floors/no elevator, dated room decor.

Real concern: I noticed a bottle cap behind a chair and looked behind other furniture to see if this was an oversight or if the room just hadn't been cleaned properly. No oversight, there was a lot of junk, wrappers and what not behind headboard and nightstand. Looked like an accumulation over time. Rooms are apparently surface cleaned but just barely. Noticed a lot of small black hairs on desk and bath floor. I'm blonde. Won't be staying here again.

Staying at the Comfort Inn was wonderful. The front desk staff and housekeeping staff were very friendly and they accommodated my every need. The breakfast was delicious. The pool and hot tub helped my to relax. The wireless Internet in the hotel was a great help with work that needed to be done. I will definitely be staying here next time I am in the Fort Dodge area.

The staff was professional, courteous and willing to go out of their way to help us. I was impressed. Fresh waffles for breakfast was great. The rooms were nice and clean. It felt like a second home. I also found out there are guests that stay there on a weekly basis due to working away from home. They accomodate to their guests very well.
