We had made reservations weeks in advance for a two night stay for our extended family to visit the Dubuque area. When we arrived, the desk person informed us that they only had reservations for one night. The desk person called the Manager to the desk to help us. The Manager (Sonny?) informed us that they were full on the second night and that there was nothing he could do for us. He made some feeble attempts to find us rooms. I even confronted him and told him that we were doing his work for him- he didn't seem to know what customer service is. We spent the next 2+ hours on their lobby computer finding our own accommodations while the Manager left the hotel to "run some errands". We ended up finding much better accommodations at the Timmerman's Resort in East Dubuque. Also, the pictures on their website are misleading. The hotel lobby is nothing more than a small hallway. The pool is smaller than most hot tubs. Don't be deceived. This hotel needs new management!
