Our previous visits to LMay centered on pizzas that ranged from the traditional to the unexpected "Pizza Specials." Sometimes creative, always good!
Most recently we tried the lobster lasagna and eggplant parmesan, much to our delight. A house salad of mixed greens in a vinaigrette dressing and a Caesar salad followed the warm bread with flavored butter we enjoyed. Tender lobster layered with noodles in a subtle, white cheese sauce seems to be a signature dish, according to our family and the three locals seated near us. And for good reason. Simply delectable! The eggplant was nicely prepared and preceded by a hearty minestrone that featured artichoke among its chunky vegetables. Too full for dessert, we declined, but as we passed the cart of 6 options I had regrets.
A remarkable commitment to quality was reflected when we ordered lobster lasagna "to go" for our family in WI. The kitchen staff did not prepare the entrees, box them and send us off to reheat them. Instead, Denise gave us hand-written instructions along with all the components to be assembled and baked, so as to maintain the texture, taste and integrity of the meal. They did their best to ensure the quality of the dish and the result was a phenomenal treat for our kids.
