“Once again disappointed.”
2 of 5 stars Reviewed September 10, 2012

Have been to this restaurant on many occasions, and have yet to be able to give this place a 5 star rating. Service is sporadic, food is way under par for what you pay for. And when you have a meal that is undercooked or not what you expected, there is no compensation on your bill or offer of a gift certificate to come and try again. Management really needs to step it up and back up their food and service! Wonderful hotel and very nice atmosphere...hopefully they will figure it out...do give it a try.

“Great food”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed September 4, 2012

You have to try this restaurant. The fish and steaks were great at this place. They also have a bar called the Tap Room...

“Very refined”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed August 30, 2012

Four of us went to brunch following church on a Sunday. This is not a buffet, but items on a limited menu. The orange and something pancakes were luscious, melt in your mouth tender and tasty. My companions were also pleased with their meals. All is very nicely served and was not outrageously expensive. Free dinner on your birthday is a much valued treat.

“Awesome ribs”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed July 26, 2012

The best, most filling ribs we've ever had. It's fun to walk through the restored lobby of this beautiful hotel in order to get to the restaurant. The cocktails were delicious, and the wine offered plenty of great options.

“Not great”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed July 19, 2012

Well, the service was good. The wine list was not. The cocktails were perfect. The food was sub-par. It makes me nervous when a place serves tartar sauce with almost perfect fish: what does it say about the kitchen's expectations for its clientele when they feel compelled to offer tarter sauce? And, no, that is not just an Iowa thing. The walleye was, however, perfect. The vegetables were fresh and wonderful. Rice was undercooked.
