I just wanted to say how the staff at this hotel treats all of its customers like kings and queens. They are polite and courteous. Even the manager takes time to come out and talk with the customers. I had a feeling of really being taken care of. The housekeepers are simply the best. The rooms are always sparkling clean, and they are always there to assist extra needs. The beds are amazing. The hotel is so quiet, a person can really get some good rest.
This is an inexpensive hotel. So no big frills. That's alright as being on a tight budget, it suited our needs, then went above and beyond. Anything we asked for they offered assistance. There are some really great restaurants in the area, just ask the staff they will point you in the right direction and can even give you menus to look at before you go.
Now about those shady people. I am one of those shady people. I am a truck driver. Why others feel the need to look down on us because we are out in the parking lot making sure our trucks are safe. Here's a bonus for those snobs, we are watching their stuff too. Sure we don't have suitcases and wear ties and 3 piece suits. This is because of the work we do. There is no room for a normal suitcase in a semi. Everything fits in the drawers in the truck. Dirty laundry goes in a garbage bag so we can do laundry when we stop. Then the garbage bag can go back in the drawer it is kept in. We wear jeans, t-shirts, flannels depending on weather. A tie could get caught in the mechanisms when hooking and unhooking the trailer. A suit would get ruined when putting on tire chains and doing inspections of the truck for safety. We are not shady people. We go through more mandatory drug and alcohol testing than any other profession. So remember when you are being condescending, looking down your nose or being a snob. Think where you would be if it weren't for us truckers. We bring your food to the grocery store, your clothes to the department store, your fancy SUV to the car lot. We keep your life happy. We are not shady people, we are hard working Americans keeping this country going!
The people that work at this hotel know all of these things. They treat us and everyone like we and they are very important people. The staff never looks down on us. So if you don't like being near the every day worker, then make sure to never leave your home because we everyday workers are every where. This hotel treats everyone as being important. The people at this hotel care about every individual regardless.
If you want a clean, comfortable, safe, and inexpensive place to stay this is it.
