“Great Business Hotel”

This Hampton inn screams the positives of this chain.

The lobby, rooms and grounds are very well kept and clean. The staff are all very helpful and look to make your stay a positive one.

The breakfast is above average for a complimentary breakfast service. They also offer cookies which were nice after a hard day at a work site.

The workout room is small but the equipment is new and well taken care of.

The bed is one of the best hotel beds I've ever slept on.

The hotel is tucked back from the main road but still close to local malls and restaraunts within a short drive.

We were quite impressed with the front desk service we recieved when we arrived. Quick check in and polite, pleasant staff including front desk, housekeeping, and breakfast service. Although there was a slight confusion with the room being occupied, unknown to the concierge, the hotel staff handled the problem quickly and efficiently. We were compensated for our troubles with an upgrade of our room. We were quite pleased with the entire hotel experience. Wonderful and beautiful place to stay.

We love to stay at Hampton Inn's and this one was exactly as we ecpected. The room was wonderful and the food was awesome!!!
We asked to arrive earlier than the normal check in and were happy to be greeted with a smile when we did so. Everyone was very friendly and greeted us every time we came into the lobby.

The room was neat and clean and the hotel looked like it had either just been refurbished or
was just built. It was great. Would definately stay again if back in the area.

We have stayed at numerous Hampton Inns around the country and have always had good experiences, great service and fresh clean rooms. During our rescent trip we made plans to stay here and go to the Amana Colonies the next day. When I made the reservations, from another Hampton Inn, I was assured I would have a top floor Suite as is noted on my honors account. Once I checked in I was told there were no more top floor suites as they had been sold out and they had me on the 3rd floor. Wasnt overly joyed about it but could definately live with it. Just like to be on the top floor in case there are lots of kids with the pool and all, keeps down on hearing them run up and down the halls. So as I was speaking with my wife the clerk said, Oh I do have a room on the 4th floor and here are your keys. We took them and her and I went to look at the room before unloading. On the way up we noticed the little things around the hotel were neglected like the elevator signs pealing off inside one of them, broken tiles in the entrance, etc. Once we opened the room we noticed first off the large stains on the carpet and that the wall had been touched up painted all over, almost like a paintball gun had been used since there were so many dabbed spots. The carpet had been unraveled and pulled up in a large strip (around 4" X 3 Ft) almost like the vaccum cleaner had taken most of it up and where it met the tiles. It looked like it had been a Florida party room for many years. We stopped by the desk on our way to get our luggage to let them know so I wouldnt be charged for the issues we had noticed and the clerk told me those should be in the maintenance log but that it had just came out of maintenance status so it should be good to go. Once we thought about it we second guess this place and wondered if she had pulled it out of maintenance just so we could have a top floor and what was it under maintenance for? It surely wasnt for painting or carpet replacement, made us question what was the underlying problems? Overall our first impression and experience didnt go well and it just seemed a bit too unorganized and fishy the whole way through, so we got our money back and went elswhere. I will say this though, the North hotel is in a much nicer and safer feeling area than where the other Hampton Inn is located by far.

We love staying at Hampton Inns, they are always clean and the people are always friendly. When we checked in, we were told we were upgraded to a suite, which was awesome. The hotel is set back from the busy roads, so the room noise is minimal. We got all of our requests plus the upgrade so this hotel is on the top of my list if I am in the Cedar Rapids, Iowa area again.

This is a great hotel to stay at when you visit Cedar Rapids. The service is wonderful. The woman at the front desk got us extra towels and helped changed a light bulb that was out. The room was very spacious. It is at a great location and next to Noelridge park as well as shopping, restaurants, and is close to everything. The breakfast is great with lots of variety and the woman who runs it keeps everything filled and fresh. We used both the fitness room and laundry as well. The service we received plus the accommodations were great. We have stayed here before and came back because it was well worth the money. This is the best Hampton Inn we have stayed at. We will stay here again.

From the moment we walked into the bright and tastefully decorated lobby, we were treated as valued guests. The staff were friendly and helpful-especially Twan and Stephanie. Everywhere we went in the hotel,Hampton employees greeted us.Our room was clean and smelled fresh.Our beds were so comfortable! Quiet too! This hotel is well maintained. Coffee and tea were always available in the lobby along with cookies in the evenings. Breakfast was delicious- lots of choices to please everyone.The lady attending to guests during breakfast was most pleasant. We are going back to Cedar Rapids in the fall and we will definitely stay here!

Room Tip: We loved our spacious king suite and will ask for it again.
