We stayed at this hotel for a long weekend when it opened Sept 2013. The room was very spacious and beds were very comfortable. We did get a river view, but found the balcony's tall cement wall on both sides and up the front to be a very poor design and gave the feeling of being in a bunker. It's too late for a design change, but perhaps some landscaping/greenery on the patio would help. Speaking of landscaping, when we were there, it was non-existent. Again, a very easy way for the hotel to establish a warm welcome and create a charming atmosphere - but they didn't. The continental breakfast consisted of previously refrigerated or frozen baked goods and average coffee. Why not buy fresh baked goods from the bakery down the street? Small little details would put this place from average to very good. Customer service was wonderful and the pool/workout areas were very clean.
not sure it's worth the upgrade to the river view given the cement walls on the balcony

Thank you for taking the time to provide feedback of your recent stay in Bellevue. We have currently begun landscaping on the back side of the hotel viewing the river. We are in the process of a retaining wall as well as a walk way from the hotel to the Off Shore restaurant. Hopefully it will be complete by the next time you stay with us. Again thank you for comments and we look forward to your next visit in Bellevue.
