“A great disappointment!”
1 of 5 stars Reviewed October 30, 2012

Read many great reviews and was disappointed with the corned beef that had no flavor and the cabbage that had a fishy smell. Had to ask to have the dirty table washed. My friend had a sandwich and was equally disappointed. The male wait staff was rude. This was during a weekday lunch hour. Would never return.

“If you can't get to Ireland, try this place!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed October 28, 2012 via mobile

We made the 3 hour trip to W. Lafayette to see Garrison Keillor last night but wanted to come early enough to enjoy a light supper and beer before hand. We found 9 Irish Bros. on the net so decided to check it out. In a sentence the food was amazing, authentic Irish music fun, the service outstanding and the Guinness out of this world. From what I understand there is a distinct way to pour it. Creamy and smooth--we thoroughly enjoyed it! The only other bar that we had excellent Guinness at was at Ragland Road, the Irish restaurant/bar at Downtown Disney at Disney World. The service was terrific and enjoyed 9 Irish Bros. so much we went back after the show for MORE excellent food, drink and service. Our server Wyatt was just as cheerful and friendly at 10 pm as he was at 2:30 pm when we first arrived. Loved the place--would travel 3 hours just to go there!

“BEST ALL AROUND PUB in the West Lafayette/Lafayette area”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed October 25, 2012

No matter which one you visit...AMAZING English/Irish Pub fare, you can always catch a great game of football (i.e. soccer) or rugby here. The ales and guinness mixes are always the right temperature... as is the humor!

“Always Great! A Wide Variety of Items and Great Service!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed October 21, 2012

We met some family for lunch at 9 Irish Brothers, and the restaurant never fails to disappoint. Great Irish music with matching decor and a great group of wait staff. We all split the fried pickles and spring rolls stuffed with corned beef, swiss cheese, and saurkraut (served with 1000 island dressing). Both were piping hot and tasted great. My wife and I split a whole order of the "fish and chips" which were also great. The fish was hot, flaky, and served with a really good tartar sauce. The pub chips were a welcome alternative to french fries, and the cole slaw paired well with the hot items. After dinner, we split an order of bread pudding, which is made with traditional Irish whiskey. Again, a great choice.
