Our family visits Mi Pueblo regularly and have had consistently excellent food and service for years. After operating in a former Dairy Queen for years they built a new restaurant just down the road from their old place that is an architectural beauty with tasteful and authentic decoration both inside and out. They have four different dining areas, one of which is the outside patio, so that no matter which area you are dining in you still get an intimate feeling as opposed to a huge open dining area. They have an extensive menu that affords endless options and I have, over the years, tried nearly everything they offer and have never been disappointed. The service is excellent in all areas of the restaurant. As soon as you are seated they bring you complimentary fresh tortilla chips and salsa. (also get the cheese dip, it is wonderful)
I have never had to wait more than ten minutes for an entree, even when we went with 20+ people. They moved things around in the larger room and sat us all together. For great Mexican fare this is the place to go.
