Made a reservation for two nights and am a Hilton Honors member (for what that's worth). Arrived at midnight after a very long work day and 4 hour drive to be informed that so sad, too bad, they had overbooked the hotel and had arranged for me to stay at the hotel down the street. I get back in my car, drive to the hotel down the street and it is absolutely gross. So, if you make a reservation, do not expect them to inform if you they overbook so you can make other arrangements. And absolutely do not expect them to put you in hotel that is comparable. The best part was they gave me a printed sheet at the desk that said this situation was do to "circumstances beyond their control." Really? I think you pretty much control whether or not you overbook a hotel and you certainly control whether or not you move your guests to a place with stained and worn bedspreads and nasty carpet.

I'd like to apologize for what seems to be a horrible experience for you. This is not normal for our hotel, and I would love to talk further with you to find out things that we could have done better for you as we are always looking to our guests for improvement at the Hampton Inn Warsaw.
