The food was good but not great. I know the difference between Spanish food and Latin foods, so I didn't go in with unreasonable expectations. I found some of the food lacking in flavor, although some things - like the croquetas - were absolutely excellent. The service was terribly slow. While we were enjoying the time together and good conversation, it didn't go unnoticed that it took more than 15 minutes for our check... and everything was a bit slow, considering it was Tuesday night. There was only one server. We are lucky to have an authentic Spanish restaurant in Northwest Indiana. Maybe it was an off night. In any case, we came away feeling pretty ambivalent over what could have been a great culinary experience - keeping us home instead of heading to Chicago. Oh well.
