We have been to Margarita's in Valparaiso 3 times. First time - about 1 year ago was a great experience and very good food. Second time - about 8 months ago it could be seen there was a definite inconsistency in food quality from the first visit. Third time - week of 10/01/2012. The food was terrible. Three incorrect charges on the bill. One example as follows: one of us ordered a side dish of rice and beans as shown as a dual combination on the menu. We received the bill and were charged for each side separately. THEN just today I was doing my bookkeeping and from the bank statement noticed that the place added $.05 onto the bill during their banking collection procedure. I can't quite figure out how they did it but they did it. Soooo ... I can't see any reason to frequent the establishment any more. They simply are not caring about the customer and by what means they may use to get money from the customer. For what it is worth we have had many good experiences at El Cantarito Mexican Restaurant on east Central Avenue in Portage. At any rate Margarita's in downtown Valparaiso does not support good business ethics nor does its food quality contain consistency.
