We have been going to Fiddler's Hearth for years as patrons of their quasi-Irish public house. The food has been ok, not great, but the Guinness has been where its at. Our last few trips to Fiddler's have been increasingly awful, finally coming to a head when a server cursed at us, called the family next to us by a vulgar slur, and accused us of serving minors. The server went so far as to chase us when we left because she received a one dollar tip; and physically accosted one of the young ladies in our group. The restaurant is small and packed with about 50 people inside. The breading on the fish and chips has gone from full and robust to almost non-existent. The wait staff are poorly dressed and freely show their tattoos and inappropriate jewelry. By the time the food makes it to the table, if you are lucky enough to be served, its cold. I would not recommend this bar to anyone any longer. For a reasonable alternative, check out Sean O'Casey's just down the road.
