This is the devil's own diet buster place.
It is also a budget buster with fudge at $13.00 a pound. There are no promos, no discounts and no coupons.
These folks do get an A plus in merchandising. Every display is set up for maximum exposure and allure. I don't believe that a real chocoholic could pass by three rooms of decadent displays without falling victim to chocolate's siren call. It is an amazing operation.
We ordered two sandwiches from their deli. The pulled Reuben was outstanding. It was served on marble rye with sauerkraut and thousand island dressing.
The lobster bisque soup was good, but the grilled fajita pepper jack sandwich was a disaster. There was no cheese but there was an overwhelming amount of honey mustard dressing/sauce which ruined the sandwich.
When ordering the clam chowder I asked what kind of chowder, i.e. Manhattan or New England. The clerk responded "Campbell's". I have Campbell's all the time and this was not Campbell's.
They employ entry level folks and the prices here are in the top 5%, something has to slip.
