“Great spot @ ND”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed November 5, 2012

We were fortunate enough to grab a table in the back room @ O'Rourke's this weekend and our group of 12 was able to have an great dinner. The food was excellent and the service was better than the food. The bar was packed, but all the staff did their best to deal with the mobs of people and we very much enjoyed the whole atmosphere. We will be sure to come back & we love the bar!

“Fun Pub”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed November 5, 2012 via mobile

Went here after a ND football game for a late dinner and a drink.
Even though it was packed the service was good and the fish and chips was excellent.
Drinks are reasonably priced and atomsphere is great.
Fun place!

“One of my favorites in South Bend”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed October 6, 2012

I've eaten here about 3 times during visits to South Bend and always try to fit in a visit when I'm in town if I can. It is a traditional Irish pub, but the food is really very good. The service this time was a little less than in the past but we had a very big party so that might have been part of the issue. They have amazing marshmellow dipping sauce for the sweet potato fries if you like that, and great pretzel bread for sandwiches and burgers. This time I tried their salmon and it was excellent as well. The prices are very reasonable, the food is great, and they have a large selection of beer (and other drinks). It is located in Eddy Commons which was super convenient to Notre Dame and our hotel, and I think this is one of the best options in there. I would highly recommend this place!

“Overall great experience, awesome Irish pub”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed October 1, 2012

Great location, good food, great service, great atmosphere. I don't know what else to say other than try it, you'll like it. The location just across from Notre Dame is amazing and was convenient to where I was working for the weekend. Ate and drank here several times and everything was great. The wings are fabulous, as is the stout fondue. All the main meal items we tried were delicious as well. The atmosphere on a Friday or Saturday night is great whether you're a college student or older demographic. I hope to visit again sometime!

“Good Food and Location”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed September 21, 2012

O"Rourke's is located just south of the Notre Dame campus. Perfect location for an Irish pub. 5 of us had lunch enjoying the burgers, fish sandwich, and Philly cheese steak. The Olde World Pretzels are great and I am not a fan of pretzels. We took advantage of the shady side of the building on a hot day which made outdoor seating enjoyable.
