The campus isn't the biggest, fanciest, or run down by any means at all. It has almost an eerie in a good way old charm that is like eye candy! The grounds are immaculate . The people just lay down on the lawn and it is like the most peace place ....like a park without kids or a outside library because its so quite unless its during football season! I can think of many things to do like visit the old diner , the new cafeteria ,the grotto , the bookstore , stadium etc. if you're a stadium fan , you're in for a treat! It's sacred like the cubs or the Boston Red Sox. They kept the old stadium and built around and made just the right upgrades! Even if you're not a fan of Norte dame going to a game would be appreciative of any sports enthusiast . The tailgating is one of the tops around and almost anybody will welcome you with open arms.
