“Great for car lovers and history buffs”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed October 27, 2012

A very nice car museum. My husband loved the cars and the memories some of them brought back. I enjoyed all the history - of both the company and of all the events their vehicles were involved in. I would highly recommend buying a combined entrance fee that lets you also tour the Copshaholm mansion, which belonged to the Oliver family. We had a great docent led tour which is worthwhile if you have the time.

“An Attractive Colection of Cars with a Story to Tell”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed October 22, 2012

A very nice exhibit of notable Studebakers all the way back to the wagons. My family had a 53 Champion and there it was shining like a star. They also have rotating exhibits and this one was small cars . There was a Mini just like my cousins. Even if you don't have a Studebaker connection, the Studebaker Museum does a good job of explaining how American industry in the Mid West grew from piece by piece production to modern manufacturing.

“Even if you aren't a "car freak" you've got to LOVE the colors of these magnificent cars!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed October 15, 2012

My husband appreciated the history and mystery of these cars. I appreciated the paint colors and wanted most of the cars in the museum. WOW! Why didn't I appreciate these more when I was younger? What a walk down memory lane!

“Great history of the company”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed September 30, 2012

OK I'm biased. I own one so of course it's great. We did see other museums on our trip so compared to those, it's still pretty good.
The main floor starts out with early history showing horse drawn carriages including those of 4 presidents then electric cars and 20's and 30's models. Second floor is post war to the end. They had a traveling exhibit on micro cars at the time so it keeps the museum fresh. The basement has cars on racks with a small description. Mainly rotating displays. It's clean and nice and fairly new. The Center for History and Oliver house next door are well worth seeing while you're there.

“Great place for car history!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed September 29, 2012

We took a group of school kids here and we loved it! There was a lot of information about the history of Studebaker as well as several cars to feast your eyes upon.
