“Clean, and friendly... Great Hotel.”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed June 4, 2012

Stayed at this hotel for 3 nights. Check in was quick and easy. Hotel room was very clean, neat, and roomy. Bed was comfortable. A/C worked great! Nice sized fridge and flat screen tv.

Once thing that I did notice is one morning while getting ready in the bathroom a strong cigarette smell did come in through the vents or walls somehow. So either someone was smoking in the room next door or near the a.c intake outside somewhere....

I really liked the little postit note on the headboard of the bed, telling me all the sheets were clean including the comforter.. I appreciate CLEAN! And that was a nice little touch.

The breakfast is actually perfect, and free at this hotel. They offered everything from scrambled eggs, potatoes, make your own waffles, cereal, fruit, juice, and pastries.

There is a Cracker Barrel, Chilies, and Subway nearby.

There is a great little game room, with a few arcade games for the kids.

I would recommend this hotel. And will be staying here in the future.

I spend a lot of nights in Hamptons every month, from my experience the consistency of the service level is stronger than the other chains.. I had numerous interactions with a variety of staff, they were a warm and friendly group. They were all friendly and service oriented. The interior is decorated differently than most, it had a warm feel, compared to most of the ones I visit. Their breakfast options were better than most, they also offer an evening reception for drinks and snacks

Room Tip: Sits close ot the intersate ask for a room at the back, unless you like listening to the dull roar...

I was pleasantly surprised upon arrival to the Hampton Inn in Seymour. It looks like the standard Hampton Inn on the exterior, but on the inside, it is all in the theme of Frank Lloyd Wright's archtechural style. The check in process was efficient and staff friendly. An evening reception includes drinks and snacks. The breakfast was the normal Hampton Inn offerings. The room had a microwave and refrigerator, and the bathroom was large. The only thing I could suggest to improve is to put an exhaust fan in the bathroom to keep the mirror dry when taking a shower and also to put an outlet by the desk. Otherwise, wow! It is located near a number of chain restaurants, and is in walking distance to Cracker Barrel.

What a nice place to stay. Snacks & 2 cocktail coupons per room to use in the lobby.
Also a fantastic breakfast setup! Would surely stay here again. They alway's have a
bag ready in the morning with a very nice travel snack.

This is a unique Hampton Inn, in that they have a happy hour with complimentary cocktails (2) for guests. I have only stayed at one other Hampton Inn that provided libations, and this is a welcome perk. As with most other Hampton Inn’s, this is an above average property, that is well maintained, and presents a positive image. The lobby/breakfast area is immaculate, and spacious. My room was very clean and orderly with flat screen television, microwave, refrigerator, etc. Although collocated with another chain hotel next-door, I heard no traffic or business noise. There are two restaurants next-door (Cracker Barrel & Ryan’s both marginal in my opinion) or several chain restaurants nearby. The property is located off Interstate 65 @ Hwy 50 and is very easy to find. I would stay here again, and would recommend it to anyone. Oh the staff was very accommodating, professional, and friendly.

I chose this hotel as a stop over on a drive from Atlanta to Chicago. The hotel is about halfway between Louisville and Indianapolis. The hotel is definitely in a rural area, but there are several hotels clustered together, so it isn't completely isolated. The hotel outside was very nicely kept up, as was the inside. When we arrived (it was close to midnight) the hotel staff was extremely nice, greeted us and got us checked in quickly. As always at a Hampton, there was complimentary coffee in the lobby. The beds were excellent. Very comfortable with nice, fluffy duvets and everything was very clean. The bathroom was large and well lit and there was plenty of room to move about in the room (four people in a room with two double beds). The television was nice and they had a good channel selection. The complimentary breakfast at Hampton cannot be beat anywhere, but the Seymour hotel seemed to have a superior Hampton breakfast. Everything was fresh and warm and there were lots of options and plenty of tables and chairs. That morning I needed to print something in their business center, but the computer wasn't working. The woman working the desk told us to just go across the parking lot to the Holiday Inn Express and tell the man there that we were from the Hampton and we could use the computer. It really wasn't any inconvenience at all and the HI Express staff was very accommodating. The Hampton Inn also had a pool, though I did not visit it. We enjoyed this Hampton so much that we even stayed here again a week later on our drive back from Chicago and it was just as nice. This is hands down one of the best Hampton Inns I have stayed in.

This is rural America, you will only get here after a long drive. These folks really could not have been more welcoming. They have a happy hour and a free breakfast. Great bed and pillows and the room was spotless. Flat screen TV, fridge, micro, coffee maker. Just a great room. The exercise facility, small but everything worked, the pool was really nice. My first priority is safety, then cleanliness, everything else is frosting on the cake and these guys make a really good frosting.

Room Tip: Bring a paperclip to close the drapes the whole way.
