“MUST SEE!!!!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed July 1, 2014

This museum was AWESOME for the price you pay. $6 per adult and kids under 11 or 12 are FREE! They have all sorts of airplane cockpits (5 or 6 at least!) in the indoor exhibit that kids (and husbands) can climb into and check out. The outdoor full sized planes were really cool to look at and we loved reading all the informative signs near the planes. We even climbed the observation tower (60 steps) to check out the museum from above. I cannot believe that this great little museum has not made in onto Must See Indiana lists. Definitely go see this great gem, especially if you have little (and not so little) boys who love planes.

“Great little air museum if you're in the area!”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed June 13, 2014

We pass through Peru frequently and up till now has been too cold. We stopped in because we see the planes and big fields that our children would be able to walk in. The cost was 6$ for each of the adults and free for 6 and under. We have 3 children under 6 so it was great! The small inside has a few things the children can climb around in and take pictures. The outside is large and you can get up close and personal with most aircraft. It was a nice stop and we enjoyed ourselves. If you are near Peru it would be great! This museum features some recognizable aircraft like the F14 Tomcats from Top Gun and the HU-1 Vietnam helicopters, and a Navy Blue Angels! It was nice! It has a small gift shop.

“Memories and information”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed July 29, 2013

There are a lot of planes on display and interesting exhibits inside. Very good for both a class trip (let them know ahead of time -courtesy!) and for veterans who want to reminisce.

“Air Museum Offers Great Old Planes, Experiences”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed July 29, 2013

Grissom Air Museum offers a field full of amazing aircraft, from a F-14 Tomcat back to a B-52! Enjoy a walk around avaition history, then go inside to a substantial gift shop and several displays, Inside exhibits include a cockpit simulator, a helicopter cockpit, and many uniforms and medals. There is usually a retired Air Force man around to answer questions and provide stories. The old "tower" is available to climb for a small fee.
