The hotel may be old, but they are doing a great job to keep it clean and looking good. Every staff member I met in the course of my stay greeted me and asked me how my stay was and if there was anything they could do to help us. Took my kids to the pool and it was well equipped not only with towels but well prepared in case of an emergency, they even had a backboard in case someone injured themselves by ignoring the no diving signs. The room was clean and well stocked with toiletries and items to keep the coffee maker running if need be. The breakfast bar was good and they were constantly stocking it, I saw her putting things out at least three times while I was having breakfast. I can't think of a better hotel experience that I have ever had. It is only enhanced by the fact that I had almost the worst hotel experience I've ever had on this trip. I know the next time I got visit the relatives in Iowa, where I will be staying at the halfway point.
