We stayed here while participating in a wilderness navigation competition and didn't expecting much. We took a chance based on the one review posted. This motel was in a wonderful rural area convenient to Bloomington and Nashville. The cost was half what we would have paid in either place. I met the owner who is in the process of upgrading the rooms one by one. Our room was in great shape and clean. The bed provided a good nights sleep. Everything is on a small scale. Small room, small bathroom with even smaller toilet and shower. Small TV, but it was equipped with Dish. Plenty of hot water and the shower drained well. At the elbow of the L shaped building is a common kitchen area. All Indiana motels are smoke free, but a friend in another room endured the previous renters smoke. Be sure to make it clear to the owner that you expect a smoke-free room. Our room completely met our needs at a great price. I would stay here again.
