My husband and I dined here while on a vacation to Brown County. On the night we went, the community radio station was holding a fundraiser and we got to hear two local bands--Indiana Boys and Foster Jones--which made for a fun atmosphere. The place wasn't very crowded, however. The setting is not typical tavern, but more like a bistro, which we really liked. We got waited on quickly, but our waitress was a scatterbrain. I ordered a glass of red wine, and she brought me a glass of white wine. Oops. She quickly remedied the situation, however. We got our food in a timely manner, and it was very good. I had a couscous salad with scallops, and it was yummy. My husband said his pork chop was perfectly cooked, possibly the best he's ever had in a restaurant. I don't know if they have dessert, but our waitress didn't offer us any. It took her a while to get the bill to us, and then longer yet for her to pick up the credit card from our table. She walked by us several times to clean off other tables, but ignored our table. My husband finally had to catch her attention and ask her to run our card. We thought the prices were reasonable...about what we'd expect to pay for upscale dining.
