“great ber and pizza”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed July 13, 2014

Stopped in with my husband and 2 kids. He tried the flight of beers and especially enjoyed their seasonal brew (left with a Growler of it). They shared a cheese pizza which was tasty, but everyone enjoyed my pulled pork pizza. We preferred the thin crust to the original, but it all was good. We did have about a 15 min wait for the table.

“Les Mesure Island”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed July 12, 2014

Last spring I bought a leather wrist band in Jerome AZ, talking to the salesperson learned they were there (of all places) and Nashville IN (of all places). Okay I lost the band two days back in Chicago, but remembered the Nashville connection, and in a trip from Louisville to Indianapolis went a little out of the way. New band, mission accomplished, and lunch was at hand. Great “oasis” with craft beer, flights for free, foodie sandwiches, and delightful personnel. All women, all good looking, the island of women, wonderful!!

“Great beer stop”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed July 11, 2014

Craft beer is one of my few passions. The brewmaster here is one of my favorite brewers, and his beers will not disappoint. I opted for the Big Woods Wimpies for a typically small meal. Loved it.
Be advised, this is a small restaurant and seating is limited at peak times. Plan accordingly, and all the more so on weekends, when people visit Nashville in large herds to spend too much money.
Service is quick and friendly, the food is very good and reasonably priced, the beer is top quality. Enjoy!

“Nashville Gem”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed July 3, 2014

This is a cozy little place just off of the main drag. Good selection of appetizers, sandwiches, pizza and other stuff. I had the vegetarian nachos with corn, black beans, jalapenos, onions, cheese and barbecue sauce. It was great! Would definitely get it again. My wife had the potato/cheese/bacon soup and found it tasty. She also had a greens salad, which was pretty basic except for the house made blue cheese dressing. We both had a beer from their craft beer selection. No wine is served. Our server, Lynda, was very sweet, friendly and attentive. Nice outdoor seating area. This is part of a larger set of Big Woods enterprises, including a place called the Big Woods Pizza Company. We will return the next time we are down there.
