It is the right place , if you want to be treated literally like a king or queen! All the languages in the world are too poor to describe this unique experience! Yet, only one phrase remains : it is a festivity of the senses!

Room Tip: Perfectly equiped Suites , which combine exquisite taste and functionality. My personal choise is t...

In terms of elegance, great service, and atmosphere, Argentikon's restaurant ranks with anything anywhere in the world. It also has a first rate kitchen producing a limited variety of Italian and Chian offerings at prices significantly lower than anything I know in the same category world wide. Some snobs may turn up their noses at a wine list that is almost exclusively Greek because they do not know Greek wines. If you want to enjoy your wine rather than show off your knowledge of wine, than this is the place for you. The setting, a medieval/renaissance estate with citrus and olive trees surrounding you alone makes the dinner worth it.

Everything was Excellent, the Service, the Suite, the Dinner at the restaurant. The environment is unique and you do not even feel the need to go out. We will be back when the orange trees are in blossom.

Take a suite from the Bristol in Paris, drop it into a historic villa and surround it by a genuine orchard. Eat out under the moon and stars with the scent of jasmine all around, or if you prefer in air conditioned comfort, totally romantic!
Add a modern pool and new fitness center.
Have an afternoon siesta and a shower, go out and by the time you get back you linens and towels will be freshly changed.
The restaurant could be the best in Greece, certainly better than anywhere I have been in Athens over the last 50 years. Breakfast is wonderful, they will do anything for you.
A quiet and restful environment where they try very hard to please you in every way. Arranging a rental car, a guide, meeting at the airport, the ferry, they do the lot.
Trust me you won't be disappointed, it is worth every penny even at upmarket prices.

Our family came to Argentikon after leaving the hotel we had reserved because we found it unsatisfactory. We arrived to Argentikon around 10pm after looking at 2 other hotels which were not to our liking. We were tired but as soon as we were welcomed at the hotel's gate our jaws dropped. Even in the dark the grounds and architecture were a sight to behold! Coming to Argentikon made our trip to Chios. All of the reviews are accurate - this estate is a magical spot. The staff is fantastic. The rooms spotless. The service and details, from Mastica liquor and goodies left in our room, to restaurant suggestions, to poolside lemonade, we were given the best treatment I've ever had. Argentikon allows you to leave the outside world behind, to enjoy every breath of air that is unique to the Greek islands. As others have said, having to leave was bittersweet. I can't wait to return again and again!

It's like they removed this house and the whole area from Toscany and brought it to Greece. The place is a jewel in every way. Architecturally it has been restored meticulously. The service is excellent. We had 10 people around us waiting to fulfill our evrery wish. And all this discreetly with no fuss. The food is fine. They even made the effort to find gluten free for us. Most of all the manager mr Fokas who is behind all this is like a maestro and orchestrates everything impeccably. It's expensive but we felt it was worth it. Every penny. And we will go back...

One of the best hotels I have ever stayed at. In a big garden of citrus trees, seperate historical houses that are at the same time very comfortable. Great hospitality (Mr Fokas and Iro), great service (thank you Chriza). A truly romantic escape, you enjoy the silence and privacy, but every detail is attended to. We could have stayed there for a couple of months more if we had the chance (and financial resources of course!). I would not miss it if I was visiting (or living in) Izmir or Cesme, Turkey. It is just a ferry + 3 km away.
