The only negative about this restaurant is that it isn't open past 4 because sometimes you just like breakfast for dinner. We had lunch at this restaurant. We were amazed by the variety of offerings and the reasonable prices. The breakfast items as well as the lunch items were substantial. You will not leave hungry. There are senior lunch specials...they all involved mashed potatoes and gravy (except of the paste item). The senior selection also included the drink and choice of dessert. This was a great value...but there are too many carbs in these offerings...meat on bread, covered with potatoes and gravy. If you want a prolonged life and you are a senior citizen, I would encourage you to steer away from these meals. The soups are homemade and delicious. The wait staff was friendly and helpful. Business was slow, but it was early in the week and a bit late in the lunch hour. This would be a particularly nice place to take your older family members for a meal. It's probably "kid friendly" too.
