Our group of five women visits the McKenzie House twice a year for a scrapbooking retreat. Sherry and Bruce are wonderful hosts and I can't say enough good things about them. The breakfasts are amazing and there is always so much food. We enjoy the movies, the snacks and hot beverages.

Oh my gosh where do I start.....everything was amazing. This is my third year coming here with my two sisters and I would never stay anywhere else in this area for a great night's sleep. Sherry and Bruce, the hosts, are friendly, gracious, helpful on local information and just love having you there..........they are the sweetest couple you will ever meet and they enjoy opening up their lovely home to anyone who would be a lucky participant. I so look forward to their delectable breakfasts that they serve up for you each morning. Starting with coffee in their signature mugs to the menu........juices yogurt granola homemade pastries and the main course with sides of bacon or sausage or ham and even an oatmeal dish TO DIE FOR! Their home is also children friendly with a basement full of fun things to keep them busy. My rating is number 1 for this bed and breakfast and I cannot wait to come back which will be in January. I could go on and on...........a beautiful front porch with rockers, a hot tub, pool in the summer and rooms that make you feel right at home. Thank you Sherry and Bruce for your special talents on running this warm cozy home and letting us have the pleasure of sharing it with the both of you. SEE YOU VERY SOON!

Our group of five ladies visit the McKenzie House twice a year for our quilt retreat. We've been coming here for about three years now and each visit is like coming home. Bruce and Sherry are wonderful hosts and I can't say enough good things about them. The breakfasts are awesome and there is always so much food!!! It's beautifully served and we all enjoy sitting around the table and meeting others who are visiting.

There is a room on the second floor that is set up for crafters and our group can sit and sew until the wee hours without disturbing anyone which is great for us. We stay in the Megan and Michelle suites which is perfect for us. The rooms are beautifully decorated and very, very comfortable. We always book our next stay when we check out and will keep coming back as long as Bruce and Sherry will have us!

Room Tip: All the rooms are excellent!

A welcome home is what each return trip to McKenzie House feels like. Sherry & Bruce always seems to remember what was happening with our family when last we saw them and it's fun to share our news and find out how all their daughters and families are doing. In addition, the accommodations are excellent and the breakfasts are wonderful. Breakfast is never rushed and it's fun to visit with fellow guests. Staying here will be a well made decision! P.S. this was our 6th or 7th stay at McKenzie House. Looking forward to making it to double digits.

My friend and our Daughters stayed in the Nicolle Suite. We had a wonderful time, loved the cozy, warm and welcoming atmosphere. Bruce and Sherry are excellent hosts and provided such special touches that it made our stay memorable. They took the time to bake a special breakfast and spend time visiting with us. The photos on their website does not do this BNB justice. You have to come to experience it. The beds were comfortable with many extras things provided to make us know we have been pampered.
It is close to Shipshewana and multiple restaurants. We are definitely going to plan another visit.

Room Tip: We had plenty of room in the Nicolle suite. Only issue would be two of three bedrooms have slanted c...

My husband and I stayed two nights at the McKenzie House Bed & Breakfast. It was a wonderful experience. We will return and with family. Bruce and Sherry were absolutely wonderful. It felt like we had known them forever. Breakfast was fantastic! When you go ask for the peach oatmeal. The beds were very comfortable and we loved the Mollie Suite with the whirlpool tub and porch at night. It was a great relaxing time. We will return!

Room Tip: The Mollie Suite was wonderful! Great bed! Wonderful Whirlpool tub. Very quiet and peaceful.
