We make several trips to Chicago each year and read the previous reviews and decided to give Lee's Inn a try. The check in clerk was very friendly. Our initial impression of the room was it was large and well equipped. However, we soon noticed the carpet had not been vacuumed and there was dust accumulation around and under all the furniture. The bed sheets were thin and the mattresses had seen better days. The full complimentary breakfast was a plus but the breakfast room floor was sticky. I felt the entire hotel needed a good wipe down. My husband even commented on the general lack of cleaniness. I doubt I would stay at this hotel again.

“Good choice when traveling towards Chicago”

All in all, not a bad place to stay when traveling north towards Chicago. It is about 50 minutes south of Chicago right off of Interstate 65. It is by far, the nicest of the three hotels clustered at this exit (the others are a Dollar Inn and a Comfort Inn).
The facilities are kept clean, has a nice indoor pool area, and best of all, a very good Continental Breakfast.

I have stayed many times here for business. The staff took the time to get to know me by name. By the second trip I felt like family. The rooms were clean. Not the most fancy dancy hotel I could of stayed at, but the friendly staff and reasonable rate more than made up for that. The breakfast buffet is second to none, with full breakfast each morning.

I travel for a living and have NEVER stayed at a hotel as nice as this.

I wish there was one in every city I travel to.
