The Teppanyaki Buffet has opened in the former Ryan's building. It has about the most varied selection of foods I have ever seen in a buffet restaurant. For the more adventurous diner, there are many Japanese and Chinese choices, a Hibachi grill, and a sushi bar. For the less adventurous and families with kids, there are more conservative choices such as pizza, ham, and fried chicken. There are salads, fruit, and raw and cooked veggies, a variety of desserts, and eight flavors of ice cream. I sampled most of the Japanese and Chinese offerings and found them all tasty. It will be interesting to see how well they manage to maintain quality with so many different types of food. There is a room which can be reserved for special occasions and carry-out is available. Hours are 11:00 AM - 9:30 PM (10:30 PM on Friday and Saturday.) The adult price for the lunch buffet is $6.89 (not including drinks), dinner buffet after 3:30 PM is $8.99, and the dinner price applies all day Saturday and Sunday. Kids prices vary by age. The servers were friendly and attentive. I will be returning with others.
