“Excellent Coffee & So Many Choices!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed August 31, 2012

Madison has a wonderful mix of specialty shops all a short walk from the Regatta pits. So when there is a break at the races it is a race of it's own to see how many of the quaint and unique shops you can visit while in town. Their coffe and tea choices are many and to chose just one is a task, but the up side is you can always return! The staff is cordial and the service is prompt. Do not pass up an opportunity to stop here! You will regret it!

“A great place to get coffee in a beautiful and historic town”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed March 15, 2012

The best coffe in southern indiana,i my opinion. lots of tea and coffee choices in a very relaxing atmosphere[someday I'm gonna sit down and enjoy it there] Very nice staff and you can be in and out quickly...parking could be better..but you can usually find a spot. We've driven 30 miles out of our way for their coffee...more than once!

“Good stop while at Ribberfest”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed August 21, 2011

Decided to stop at Madison Coffee & Tea Co. on Saturday morning August 20, 2011 while we visited Madison for Ribberfest. As an aside the Ribberfest blues lineup is usually one of the best in this part of the country. Buddy Guy was the headliner Saturday with Ronnie Baker Brooks the Friday headliner.
Anyway I had drip coffee with nothing added. My partner had Vanilla something. We both had blueberry muffins.
Note: The coffee is HOT.
Mine was fine, no problem. The Vanilla something was stated as very good and the muffins were full of berries and very flavorful.
There is seating outside as well as inside. The lady who appeared to be the only employee was not overly friendly but not rude. She did her job quickly and well, which is all I really expect.
Would I go back, probably. No reason not to do so.
The coffee I would rate a 4.5
The muffins I would rate 4.5
The service 4.0
Atmosphere 4.0 (It looks like most small coffee shops, it was too hot to want to sit outside on the sidewalk)
Not cheap for what you get but a little better than Starbucks.
