Staff went out of their way to help make our daughter's wedding reception a success. Very accommodating in terms of making sure we were taken care of. We had an hors doeurves bar instead of a meal - the table looked fantastic. Karen was wonderful to work with. I do not have one single complaint about the entire experience.

peopple here are super cool. front desk, bar, housekeeping all of them. they know the area really good because most of them live in the area so if you want good places to eat or hang out or whatever they got you covered. i am here all week for work every week for 12 weeks and i have pets to take care of and they are very accomidating for that situation as well.

The Hotel layout is spacious with plenty of room to walk around, and the surrounding area makes for a pleasent enviornment, being close to Pine Lake. The staff is quite friendly, and the restaurant has interesting choices, especially for appetizers. The Breakfast/Brunch is a nice value.

I stay at this hotel many times, and the most important characteristic that i always notice is the friendly atmosphere. The restaurant has a very big fire place in front of the tables, perfect for a romantic occasion. The staff is very respectful and you can see the managers always interacting with the guests trying to make their visit the most comfortable. The bar has live entertainment on the weekends so if you want to have a drink there is no need to go out of the premises. There are tables and chairs everywhere and you can sit out of your room and drink your own beer. The rooms are always clean and comfortable. The food is very good and the prices unbelievable, very affordable, I recommend the chicken avocado sandwich, the burgers are huge, and the breakfast buffet every weekend. I go there so much that i don't need to get my information to the guest clerk, they remember my name and what i need for my stay. I'd stayed in many hotels around the area and what makes me go back is the special treatment i get all the time, many other places were so cold and impersonal, but at this place i am treated as a person and not a number. Thank you Patricia, Karina, Cristal, Michelle, and to all the staff for making my visits to La Porte very comfortable. Your hotel is my home away from home.
