The service started out okay, but went down hill from the time my husband sucked a piece of glass through his straw in his drink. Thank goodness he felt it in his mouth and did not swallow it. We could not find our server, so we grabbed the closest server. He looked very confused and was zero help. Our server came to check on us and we told him what happened. He takes the piece of glass from my husband's hand and matches it to the chip that is missing on the rim of the glass. He tells us that it "fits" and it doesn't look like there should be any pieces of glass left. He then asks if my husband wants to finish the drink! My husband says no and asks for another drink. The server offered no apologies for this! Then when it came time to check out, my husband asks for a military discount. The server says they don't offer one. My husband pulls the Military discount website on this phone and SHOWS it to the server that Chili's offers a Military Discount. The server proceeds to tell us that in his 4 years working there, they never offered a military discount. He then brings the manager over who was also clueless! My husband starts to get angry and mentions the glass in his drink. The manager had NO clue that my husband had a chip of glass in his drink as the server NEVER told him. The manager ends up comping our meal. We didn't get an apology from the manager. He didn't try to win our business back. Needless to say, our server was clueless because he has a clueless manager.
