We visited Buckhead for an early Saturday afternoon dinner (or late lunch?) with friends. We were quickly seated with a beautiful view of the Louisville skyline, and three large TVs. (It was opening weekend in this year's college football season!)
We had a large-ish party of 7, so I can expect some deviations in service quality. But I was underwhelmed. Our server seemed to be phoning it in. Perhaps he was early in his shift, or ready to go home. Bt still, he needs to polish the skill set.
I ordered a burger with BBQ sauce, bacon and a bleu cheese sauce. It was over grilled, hard as a hockey puck. Frustrating, as I'd ordered it medium rare.
Side note: Buckhead had been closed for a lengthy amount of time due to a fire. I guess I just expected a little more enthusiasm as they arose from the ashes to try and capture their lost business. But then again, that may be the reason my burger was so charred.
Prolly won't run to get back there, especially since the are numerous other options in the neighborhood.
