“Three families staying together all had issues”
1 of 5 stars Reviewed 3 days ago NEW

I booked this hotel after reading reviews on Tripadvisor. There were negatives, but the positives all seemed to outweigh them. We arrived on a Friday night with my parents and sister and her family, all in three different rooms. My sister's room was next to ours. Both rooms had air conditioners that ran very loudly, and hers did not cool. There were four people staying in our room, and we were only given two towels. The rooms were very dated but clean. There were only two sheets and a blanket on the beds. The wifi was extremely slow. The next morning, everyone in all three rooms had lukewarm showers. When we returned from our day at Holiday World at approximately 5:30 p.m., none of the rooms had been cleaned. After going to the front desk to ask about this, I was told that they had been fully booked the previous night and had only four housekeepers, and they were still working on cleaning. The parking lot had maybe twenty cars in it all weekend, so I highly doubt they were full. I asked for two extra towels and was told that housekeeping would bring them later (they never did). My mother put in a request for the air conditioner to be fixed in my sister's room as well as to have all of our rooms cleaned. I have a feeling that this would never have been done had a second request not been made because maintenance and housekeeping both showed up around 7:30 p.m. The children decided to swim before dinner, and the pool was disgusting. There was a ring of film around the entire edge of the pool about 6 inches high. The kiddie pool had no water in it and had black stuff all over the bottom. Both saunas had signs on them that said they were closed for maintenance. Judging by the condition of the signs, I suspect they have been closed for maintenance for a long time. The bathroom light in the women's restroom at the pool did not turn on. Contrary to previous reviewers that state the new owners are making changes, I think the money has run out. This place was a dump.

My family stayed here For our trip to nearby holiday world. The property is very worn down and past its prime. The new ownership group is making small changes to the property like shaking the Ramada title and going independent. The rooms are clean however the wallpaper is pealing, popcorn ceiling is cracking in spots and the carpet is stained in rooms and hallways. Many of the seals on the windows have broken causing windows to fog. The pool area features broken tiles, and a top layer of engrained dirt around the inner pool tiles above the water line. The pool and whirlpool ladders are also broken although they have fixed the pool heater from the last review. The kids pool is fully drained and out of order. The fitness center is out of order. The mini golf putting range is out of order. The doors for entering guest room hallways from the exterior are supposed to be card locked and are broken thus not prohibiting unauthorized entry. Beware as well that there are no real comforters for the beds just fleece throws between the top and bottom sheets. Many of these things were in past reviews however management responded by saying changes where in progress. So we booked anyways. The only pro for staying here was the price at just around 70 a night and the room had a newer flat screen tv with dish.

Next year we will spend the extra 20 and stay at the holiday inn or numerous other hotels in Jasper. Skip it you will be glad you did.

This place is terrible! There was a musty smell to out room that just never went away. Our room must have sat directly under or behind the pool maintenance room since it sounded like a little pool filter hole the entire time we were there. The constant sound of lapping water (or draining water, whatever the heck it was) was massively annoying. But combine that with being awoken by the sound of a semi truck idling in the parking lot across from our room and it was completely unbearable. And did I mention that our sink didn't even have a handle for the faucet? I had to use the handle of my toothbrush to turn it on and off. Ridiculous! I mentioned breakfast and my husband laughed.....stale donuts and week old coffee we guessed. No thanks, we didn't even attempt it.

We used to come past thirty years on easter in jasper inn to celebrate.this place has everything that family group needs for entertainment. Kids have pool + games to enjoy. There is sitting arrangements everywhere in the dome area. New owners are very accommodating when they came to know that we r here for easter dinner they put their staff without informing us and arrange table and chairs for our family members. We are impressed! This place is improving as compared to past service wise and cleanliness wise

The buildings stunk. Musty smell in main building. smoke smell in hall of other building. They then gave a room with outside door. My wife began to smell the same odor, apparently from the linem. The beds made noise. The design is from the 50's. We left after 20 minutes.

First the pros: The staff seemed friendly, (especially the lady working in the pizza restaurant) the pizza was decent and the pool is heated. The room appearance wise was average hotel looks. A previous review mentioned the room not having blackout curtains, the window does have them they are against the window behind the sheers. Now for the cons: Kiddie pool had been drained, lights in the exercise room and pool bathrooms did not work, pool ladder is messed up, tile around pool is cracked, pool needs a good scrub, most of fitness equipment was non functional, vending machines don't work just take your money, used soap in the shower, roof was leaking so second floor carpet had a huge squishy spot under the leak ( no attempt to collect rain in buckets), waffle maker broke in breakfast area, and business center out of order. If the owners put a little money and fixed a few things and quality checked the housekeeping it would be an ok hotel. With all this being said we paid $55 a night so we didn't expect perfection!

Had a great stay here at this hotel 2 nights ago! Room was priced at a reasonable amount! It is definitely a place I want to come back to with my kids! The staff was very friendly and they have everything arcade restaurant and a pizza place by the indoor heated pool which had a big hot tub and jets worked really good I noticed they have 2 hot tubs but the one was not running at the time we stayed which was fine the one in working order was really GREAT!! They also had pool tables and a big gym. Will definitely choose this place over all the hotels if I ever come through Jasper again!! LOVED IT!!
