“Quality hotel”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed May 15, 2014

I recently stayed at this property for one night on a business trip. Very easy to get to from the airport (roughly 30 minutes through non-rush hour traffic). I've stayed at a Hyatt in Tampa and this hotel was exactly like it. Suite-type room with two double beds. Room was clean, more than enough space and the bed was comfortable. The hotel is adjacent to a very busy road/interstate which was a bit noisy but didn't bother me. The morning breakfast was a bit spartan and not very impressive. Overall, a good qualtiy hotel that worked perfectly for me during my trip.

Thank you very much for your positive comments.

I, indeed, want to apologize for your dissatisfaction regarding breakfast. I will review your comments w/ the staff...so we can all collectively find solutions to whatever caused the problem.

Regardless, thanks again for your positivity.

Have a great weekend.

Wife and I stayed for one night and overall had a very nice stay. The front desk gentleman could not have been nicer and more accommodating. Check-in literally took 30 seconds. He also was very helpful in obtaining an item we needed for the room. Much appreciated! The room itself was on the 6th floor and very nice. Overall, the king room was neat, clean, and very spacious. Very large flat screen T.V. (probably 50"!!) swiveled to both seating and sleeping areas easily. The only issue we had was the shower head face did not appear to be clean, and looked a bit crusty and should have been replaced, and the interior of the bathroom door was a bit chipped and had water spots all over it. Neither item was a deal-breaker, but just something to attend to in the future.

We enjoyed the included hot breakfast, and the seating areas were very nice and clean. Scrambled eggs tasted powdered. If you are going to offer an item, make it the best possible quality or don't offer it. An additional hot item or two would have been nice, and maybe a few pastry offerings in addition to the small donuts would have been nice, but overall, again, we were very pleased with our experience. The items we mentioned are just small things that can easily be remedied to really solidify the guest experience. Can't say enough about the staff again, as they were the consistent stars, even on this short stay! That type of service and positive attitude makes such a huge difference, and is always noticed and appreciated!

Based on our experience with Hyatt Place in another city we were excited at the opportunity to check this one out. We were not disappointed. As usual the staff was superior in their attentiveness and friendliness. The room was very spacious and super comfortable and perfect for our weekend away. The location seemed secluded but was in reality very close to more than you'll need as far as shopping and dining. We will definitely return!

Room Tip: The side that faces the freeway (back) was very quiet on the 2nd floor.

Most of the hotels downtown were booked, so stayed here instead. I have stayed here previously for four days in 2013. Great location for shopping and restaurants. Very friendly staff, efficient checkin, large, clean rooms, and above average breakfast included in the rate. Hotel is a good value for all of the amenities and free breakfast. They have drinks and a small menu to order from in the evening. I will stay here again when I travel to Indianapolis.

Thanks so much for the positive comments and star-scoring-rating.

When you next stay w/ us...you should see a pre-arrival email from me, asking what we can do to make your stay (ahead of time) the most perfect experience possible.

Indeed, I send these pre-arrival emails to each and every guest before their arrival dates.

I'm hoping when you receive this email, you can give us a few tips on how to best personalize and perfect your hotel experience so at check-out, you don't want-to :-).

Regardless...thanks again for your kind words and positive scoring. It will most definitely be shared w/ the entire staff and we look forward to seeing you again soon.

Thanks and have a great week,

We have stayed at this hotel many times, each time we stay the rooms are clean and staff are always friendly. I sleep so well at this hotel, it's like sleeping at home. The food is very good in the galley and the location is right by the fashion mall.

I don't want to waste your time (by any means)...but I just have to sincerely thank you for your very positive comments, and more importantly, for your repeat business and positive word-of-mouth referral.

We, as a hotel, definitely take those things extremely seriously. Truth be told...we value our guests' ratings/reviews/opinions as, by far, the most important metric to measure any and every hotel's success. Guests are happy...hotel will prosper - Guests are unhappy...hotel will struggle. It ain't exactly rocket-science...right?! We simply never stray from the very basic, fundamental essence of the hotel business..."In order to be in the hospitality industry...YOU HAVE TO ACTUALLY, indeed be HOSPITABLE". (and not fake-it, but actually BELIEVE IT).

Sorry for the needless soliloquy. I'm just passionate about my hotel and how hard & diligently the associates whom I work alongside...approach their jobs.

Again, please accept my sincere gratitude and excuse my diatribe while thinking out-loud.

Your comments will definitely be shared and we look forward to seeing you again soon ;-).

Thanks,

We like the familiarity of staying at the same hotel. Sometimes, if the hotel we prefer is booked, we check Tripadvisor and venture out to try a different place. That happened in late January. We were asked to drive down to Indy to "Grandparent" our grandkids for the weekend. (We had stayed at the Hyatt Places in Madison, Wisconsin and Waukegan, Illinois and loved them!) The Hyatt at Keystone Crossing in Indy was also very accommodating. The remodeled lobby/dining area was welcoming and modern. Our room was also clean, modern and very comfortable. The hotel is located away from the bustle of the busy Fashion Mall but close enough to offer the shops and restaurants nearby. The absolute best attribute of this hotel was the staff. They were genuinely warm, caring and inviting. They went out of their way to make every person who entered feel special. It

Room Tip: Even though this hotel backs up to an expressway, we did not hear the highway noise.

We loved out stay. All of the staff were soo nice and friendly. They had cookies at the first desk for free!! I was starving so that was a plus! :) Our room was nice. The bed was just OK. I loved the L shaped couch. We enjoyed watching a movie on the couch instead of having to watch it in the bed. The room was very clean. My husband used the fitness room and said it was nice. The breakfast was awesome. It's really close to the Fashion Mall which we liked. We would definitely stay again.
