“Great stay!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed January 23, 2012

My recent stay at the Westin was fabulous, particularly because of John Rabold. He checked me and was so helpful and kind. The room was great with a terrific view of Lucas Oil Stadium. It certainly didn't feel like a typical business trip!

I have stayed here several times over the years but am finally writing a well-deserved and long overdue review. I was attending the Premiere of a film called, "Naptown Rock Radio Wars". The staff, particularly the front desk supervisor, John Rabold, was extremely professional, friendly and accommodating to my need for a late check in, holding my luggage, making sure everything was the way I wanted it. The rooms were VERY nice. I couldn't have been happier! And the beds.....aren't they called 'Heavenly Beds?" Yes...they are!

The location downtown was fantastic. Close to everything. Anyone coming here for the Super Bowl should put the Westin at the top of your list! There's a great restaurant (Shula's) inside the Westin. If you're looking for a GREAT NEIGHBORHOOD Pub that's casual- right next door is Loughmiller's (pronounced lock-miller's) Pub & Eatery. Great food, friendly staff, excellent drinks, fun atmosphere. You get the best of everything when you stay at the Westin. Can you tell I had a good time? *******Thanks everyone!*******

This Westin recently went through some renovations and upgrades. Most notably the lobby got a make over with new interior design. The rooms are the same but in great quality shape. The upgrade has come in two areas. Finally they fixed their wireless internet which was horrendous in the past, now works like likely split. Additionally the front desk service is much improved with agent John Rabold on hand. He assigned me a great room location. The hotel still needs more accessible power outlets for the business traveller in each room rather than a crawl under the desk for only one open plug in.

This hotel offers a magnificent view of the city and is just a few blocks from everything in downtown Indy. The staff was extremely helpful. In particular I want to single out John Rabold who checked us in, learned of our plans and made very helpful recommendations about our evening.

Room Tip: Ask for a downtown view, the higher the better.

We are glad you liked the location. We appologize for the out dated rooms and the condition of our carpet, eventually we will address that situation and get the carpet replaced, or at least a nice deep cleaning. Again we welcome your feedback and we hope to see you again real soon.

Stable Westin with outstanding service, wonderful shower and heavenly beds. Rooms are beginning I to look dated especially the carpet but you cannot go wrong with the location across from the convention center and only a shortwalk to numerous restaurants

I stayed for one night. Upon arrival, I was given the opportunity to enroll in the Starwood Preferred Guest program, which allows me to earn points and airline miles! Then they upgraded my room. The best part of my stay was the fact that there was a treadmill in my room, which I used the next morning. I will defiantly be staying here again!

I have stayed in this hotel twice in the last year- first time was decent despite problems with keys repeatedly not working- this time was another matter- We showed up at 5pm and the hotel was pretty full- despite requesting one king we were given two doubles in a room that was tiny- it hink it used to have one queen and that would have been ok- the bathroom was old and needed a major overhaul- the shower heads only partially worked, some of the jets were clogged and the closet was so small it was barely usable- the fitness center is great- no complaints there- except for a fairly pervasive odor- like mildew covered with industrial cleaner that was present on the 3rd floor leading to the gym and the second floor all the way into the upscale restaurant. The staff was helpful- sort of- I wanted a town car for the ride to the airport and there was serious confusion about arranging that- they kept trying to put us in a taxi- overall, next year maybe the Marriot or the Hyatt that are both right next door.

We do regret that we were unable to provide you a renewing expierence at our hotel. We do realize that some of our rooms need to be updated, and will be working on that in the future. We are also sorry that you did not recieve the room "requested". Please know that we do everything we can to meet all requests, but sometimes on sold out dates as this one, we were unable to get you the proper room type. We do look forward to you giving us another try in the future.
