This was our first time to Indianapolis and this location is great to walk to lots of different locations. You're one block away from Monumental Circle and about 5 blocks from great food and entertainment. Keep in mind that this is not a hotel you can visit through the skywalk but you can get to a neighborhood hotel and then walk on the street to the Sheraton. We went in December 2012 and it was snowing so being able to walk to many locations was great. We attended a football game and drove to a Kroger store about 3 miles away (easy access on GPS) to get tailgating supplies. Near the Indianapolis Zoo and the convention center and within walking distance of Lucas Oil Stadium. If you're writing a review because the hotel staff didn't pay enough attention to your needs, then you didn't get out enough to enjoy the great city of Indianapolis. I needed a nice bed, running hot water and clean towels.

The Indianpolis Sheraton City Centre is a nice place but there were a couple of problems with our room. It took literally 10 minutes for the water to warm up to a tolerable temperature, really just barely warm. Also, the thermostat in the room didn't work and the room was far too warm. I was, however, compensated for both of these problems with points, which was acceptable to me.

The room itself was a nice size and very clean. The bedding was high quality, but the towels were below average. The bathroom was just average.

The public areas of the hotel were very nice and parking was reasonable. The location is excellent and the desk staff were pleasant. We got a good rate on our room, so overall I felt my experience was fine.

I stayed at the Sheraton for a night and was impressed! The room was very clean. The bed was super comfortable (I didn't want to get out of it). Friendly staff. PERFECT location right downtown Indianapolis. Monument Circle was literally steps away. Bars and restaurants were just steps away as well. I stayed there on a Saturday and walked to Lucas Oil that Sunday. If its freezing like it was when I went, you can use the skywalk. Next time I stay downtown, I will be staying at the Sheraton. I would recommend it to any friend or family member.

Abigail is an excellent employee. She treated my group as if we were family. We had a blizzard in the downtown Indy area. She made sure we all were comfortable with our visit. WE will be back here for sure..
