“Excellent hotel”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed April 23, 2010

This hotel is excellent to stay in while on business in Indianapolis. The location is perfect, its connected to a major downtown mall. And its right above an off-track betting site for all those gamblers out there. The pools great, the spa is great, and the hotel staff is very very helpful. Rooms are very clean and the mattresses are perfect. Will stay again !

I was in Indianapolis for the first time and the services at the Embassy Suites made my stay more pleasant. They had computers available with printing services for those who couldn't bring a laptop. Internet connection was included at no charge. Complete breakfast included with cook-to-order omeletts among cereal (hot and cold), bread, fruit, yogourt, pancakes, bacon, sausage and more. happy hour from 5:30 to 7:30 with complimentary drinks including wines and other alcoholic beverages. The room service maintained the room clean and prepared with a selection of coffe and tea. Also the rooms have a microwave oven and a small refrigerator. On top of all, serurity boxes available at front desk at no cost. I had to study a lot for my workshop and the facilities provided at the hotel were perfect. Located in the heart of downtown, walking distance to many attractions and in the heat of the city. Clean room and huge suites.
Great service with excellent rates.
Thanks

Just finish a weeks stay and was very pleased with the accomendations , location and the over all friendliness of the staff . The free breakfast , evening reception and central location was A1 . While my wife attended her convention sessions ( about 3 blks ) my grand daughter (11 ) and i were able to walk to most of the attractions in the city . While i totally enjoyed the city the Embassy only put the cherry on top . The one draw back as is for many hotels was that there was a charge for internet connection. Prior to our stay i read mixed reviews but didn't experienced any of the negative statements. All in all we would be thrilled to stay again.

I've been going with family to the Big 10 Tournement since it began, and when it is in Indy we stay at the Embassy. We always have a good time due to the location to stadium, resturants, and bars. I always eat the free breakfast (pretty average) - and we always hit the comp. cocktail hour(s) -
Probably been there 8-10 times in all and will be there in a week - comfortable spot in a great location.
A couple of times I've been there and some youth groups stayed there (cheerleading meets / volleyball tourney) and it could be a bit loud a little late.

I actually hadn't stayed at an Embassy Suites since the late 90's, and I was surprised to find this hotel was still stuck in that era. My biggest complaint, though you see this in Europe all the time, is that there is no way to lower the room temperature in the winter since the air conditioning system is off. So, if your room is hot, sorry, that's just how its going to be.

I was also there for the Jets-Colts game, so they had a full house. The free breakfast was a zoo. They tried to keep up valiantly, but there were 30-person lines to get a drink. Keep that in mind if you are there during an event.

Otherwise, the hotel was as advertised and a reasonable value. I'd probably try a different hotel the next time I'm in town.

We stayed here for a Colts game and it is the worst Embassy Suites I have ever stayed in. First they tried to put us in a "corner" room which had only a single and a double and an odd room shape. The carpet and walls were dirty. They moved us to a regular shaped room after our request, but the room was still dirty, there had been a water leak near the window and the carpet was still badly stained. Bathrooms were moldy, and the room smelled of cigarette smoke. If you're expecting Embassy Suites quality....forget it. The good reviews for this hotel must be plugs by the owners because this hotel is a one star hotel at best.

This is a nice hotel to stay at downtown but look out for the groups that stay there. They had a youth group and the kids would not go to sleep. They were up making noises outside of the rooms until 2 a.m. I called the front desk and they told me they were having trouble controlling these kids so you may not get much sleep there.
