“Free breakfast and free Happy Hour!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed July 20, 2013

We stayed at this hotel whie attending a recent conference held at Lucas Oil Field and also at the Convention Center. Although there was a shuttle provided, it was so close that we chose to walk to each location every time instead. The hotel provides a free breakfast that included omelettes/eggs made to order, grits, bacon, sausage, cereal, oatmeal, fruits, juices, sodas, french toast, and more. In the afternoon they provided a FREE happy hour that included wine, spirits, juices, sodas, popcorn, and other snacks. The hotel connects internally to the Circle Center Mall which had a ton of stores. Did some shopping and found some great deals. The bathroom was a little tight though, only 1 person could be in there at a time but really not a big deal. The room was clean and the bed very comfortable and I had no trouble sleeping. I have a Tempurpedic bed back home and normally find it difficult to get a good night's sleep away from home but not here. The price was right and the complimentary services were amazing. I definitely recommend this hotel.

Noisy, and some of the worst service ever. Parking garage is awful, security is a joke, rooms are cramped and access is awful Dont see how this can even be considered ADA compliant). Every sound in the lobby can be heard in rooms. Front desk is incompetent. Do not stay here.

We took our 16 year old daughter and her friend to see Justin Bieber and surprised them with a Penthouse Suite. They loved having their own area and the location was fantastic, a quick 5 minute walk to Banker's Field House for the show. No problems at the hotel. Would highly recommend for anyone wanting to stay downtown in a central location.

I have stayed in a few Embassy Suites hotels in the U.S. and I've stayed at some that are really exceptionally nice and others that are good / decent. This falls in the good / decent range. I've stayed in nicer Embassy Suites properties and I've stayed in some that were less appealing.

This is a very large hotel - very busy. Lots of conventions cycling through downtown Indianapolis. It is definitely an older build and some of the elements show their signs of age. The hotel is clean and well-maintained but it is clearly a bit rough around some of the edges.

The staff are all very pleasant and they keep the hotel running smoothly. I wouldn't have any hesitation to stay there again on a future trip to Indianapolis.

Bear in mind that if you are looking for luxury, within the same Hilton brand in Indianapolis, you'll find a Conrad. For the price and value, the Embassy Suites is a perfectly good / decent place.

I liked the convenience of the hotel. It was very clean and everyone was very friendly. I would definitely stay here again. The reception and breakfast make it worth the price. This was our first vacation to downtown Indianapolis and it is a very clean and friendly city with lots to do.

Embassy Suites Chain started the "suite" trend years ago. These hotels now being built are very nice, well appointed rooms, and present a airy feeling. Unfortunately this particular property hasn't kept up with their interior appearance, and room decor. My room was an upgrade corner executive suite. With this much space, there should have been 2 bathrooms, and additional closet space. The one bathroom was very small. Housekeeping failed to provide towels on one day. The breakfast was good, but the serving area was not layed out well to permit speedy service. The hotel desk staff were very friendly.

Room Tip: rooms on the higher floors might be desirable
