“Best place in Indy”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed August 4, 2014

We ended up here on a quest for a good margarita and good food. The margarita was really good. The staff and service was EXCELLENT! The food was EXCELLENT! Highly recommend! We had the Tamal cakes and pork chop on special..two thumbs up, way exceeded our expectations. Love the decor and bar setting. Cant say enough good things about it. Some people on reviews here say it is overpriced but for what you get and the quality it is right on price. The guac was excellent. The only thing I probably wouldn't order again is the salsa trio. it was ok.

“Love the creativity!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed August 2, 2014

Definitely a winner! Been here twice now, and each time the meal was well presented, and service staff knowledgeable and helpful. This isn't your "Americanized" Latin fare. This place obviously works their magic in the kitchen to present a well balanced flavor event!
Started with the Queso Fundido Con Chorizo appetizer. Very nice surprising flavor!
I had the AJI DE GALLINA, it had a very nice meld of flavors, and plenty of chicken that topped the rice. My niece had BRAZILIAN MOQUECA! She loved it, never tasted anything like it, and ate it till the plate was clean.
I like the ambiance, I like the prices, I like to creative flavors they are serving, and I like the service.
I will definitely be back (My niece has already asked when we can go again)
It is a nice change to have an Authentic Latin Restaurant. Their creativity in developing flavors reminds me of Seviche in Louisville or Elote in Sedona..

“Great Combinations”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed July 28, 2014

This is an interesting place. The wines are mainly from Latin American countries and the food is quite good, particularly if you like a fusion of various Latin American flavors with the odd twist here and there. The steak is cooked the Argentinian way. Very good. Our waiter was well-informed in all areas and personable (Oscar). We were there on a Friday night, so service was a tiny bit slow. Overall a good choice if you are looking for something different from Mex/Tex.
Be sure you go to the right as you enter, otherwise you end up in just a bar.

“Mofongo is not authentic ”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed July 20, 2014

I have been to Delicia a couple of times and love it. This time I tried the special for the night "mofongo" and was disappointed :( The platano was like mashed Potatoes texture with a lot of sauce. The flavor was not bad and shrimp were good, but it is definitely not the mofongo we get in NY or PR.

Other than that, the food is amazing. The churros and platano dessert were well done.

Enjoy! :)

“Great service and authentic food”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed July 18, 2014 via mobile

Overall the food was very good. .. but the service was fantastic. Our server Marco was knowledgeable and great. The food is pretty authentic. .. however the ceviche is not necessarily Peruvian. .. however it is good. It is a bit pricey but an overall good place to visit!
