I went there about 12:45 on a Monday afternoon and it was very busy with the lunch crowd, but I was able to get a table. Additional seating is in the hallway outside the restaurant. Even though busy, my half sandwich and cup of soup were ready quickly. I've been to many Paneras for lunch and have found the quality and service to be consistently good.
This trip, I decided to return the following morning for breakfast. I was in a hurry and was pleasantly surprised to find some small soufflés ready to go in the pastry section. I ordered a spinach and bacon soufflé to go, asked where I could warm it before returning to my hotel room, and was directed to the microwave in the coffee service area. I opened the bag and found to my delight that it was already warm so didn't need the microwave. They must have the soufflés on a warming tray. I didn't have high hopes for a premade soufflé, but it was very tasty and quite fresh. The soufflé's crust was a flaky croissant dough. The eggs, spinach and bacon nicely seasoned. A little high on the calories, but what the heck, I was on vacation.
