“They have us hooked”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed October 14, 2012

From the outside, you aren't expecting much. Inside-it is jammed packed and with good reason. They serve some the best Sushi in the city at very reasonable prices. We found roll we at excellently prepared and yummy. My wife even got the VIP card as she is already planning our next trip here. Easily one of the best Sushi restaurants in the city, and one of the better ones for value.
Reservations are a must, unless you plan on standing with a plastic lobster in your hand.
The atmosphere is busy, loud, and not very exciting. Not exactly the most romantic restaurant I've been to, but go here for the food and and you will not be disappointed!!

“Incredible food and service”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed September 2, 2012 via mobile

By far, the best traditional Japanese cuisine in Indiana. I have been coming to this restaurant for 15 years and the quality and value has been consistently high. Well operated, nice environment.

“Best Sushi in town”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed August 27, 2012

This is the best sushi in the Indy area. They are ALWAYS busy and thus the fish has a high turnover rate. Our sushi is alway very fresh and tasty. Have not had a bad meal at this restaurant!

“Hidden Jem”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed July 31, 2012

Sakura is my favorite spot to get Sushi in Indianapolis. Their rolls are a good size for a decent price. My favorites are the Texas roll and the Canadian Roll. They can get very busy so whenever I go I always call ahead to make sure there is a table ready. Service can be slow sometimes too but the sushi is definitely worth it!
