Dive location on Keystone but we had had success nearby at Tomo Japanese and heard this was the best sushi in Indy. Wrong.
We had 3 specialty rolls and the only one that even came close to standing out was the one covered in salmon and had some sort of microgreen in it. Very good and unusual. May have had fresh tarragon in it. We both liked it but found the rest of the sushi very average. Tomo, down the street just several blocks, had far superior sushi and service. That takes us to service.
This place was PACKED on a Wed. night! That's good in that you probably found a great restaurant. Bad in that the wait is very long for food. From the time we ordered to the time we got our first roll it took one hour and 6 minutes. Yes, I typed that correctly and you read it correctly. Never have I waited for food this long since I was a kid in a seafood restaurant dining with my parents. That was ...um...a while a go. We kept asking the waitress and she said, "Don't worry! Your sushi is coming soon." I think that was at the 40 minute mark....*sigh*.
We won't return. Tomo was far better (everyone agreed) and service was infinitely better and faster.
