“Great baseball park!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed November 30, 2012

This is a gem in the city and not to be missed. The park is a beautfiul brick stadium for a Triple A team with a beautiful view of the city. Seats are a bargain, and you can even pay less if you sit on the lawn. The team is good, decent ball park food, and we go to a couple games every year.

“One of the best family ballparks in the US”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed November 28, 2012

I've probably been to 20 minor and major league ballparks, and Victory Field is one of the best in my opinion. Parking is cheap, access to shopping and dining downtown is a short stroll away and tickets are cheap. Sitting in the outfield grass with a picknick is a great way to spend a summer evening.

“Baseball”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed November 27, 2012

Anyone that likes baseball and can't get to a big league game needs to attend one at Victory Field. It is a beautiful facility. The fireworks after the game were awesome also.

“We got to take a tour with the head groundskeeper”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed November 20, 2012

This will be a different type of review. I was not here for a baseball game, I went here with a group of high school students on a career tour about professional sports turf management. The head groundskeeper was our tour guide. He showed us all of the different parts of the stadium that you don't typically see. We saw the indoor batting practice area, the clubhouses, the locker rooms, club boxes, and the press box. Most of our time was spent in the groundskeeping area (since our tour was geared at explaining what a pro sports turf manager/groundskeeper does) which was fascinating. We got to see all of the turf management equipment and supplies, the irrigation system, and we got to examine the grass on the field. If you are interested in learning more about this or you kids interested in this kind of thing, try to schedule a tour. I had a great time!

“Best of the best”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed November 14, 2012

I have been to several minor league baseball parks in my travels. There is none finer than the one in my own backyard. There is NOT a bad seat in the house. Grab yourself a Sun KIng beer and a hot dog and you are destined for a great time at the ball park.
